When talking about the writer's language that the writer uses; the language that is used in the text is very expressive and pictorial. Some examples of the writer's descriptive language are “the yellow mustard fields, the mountains, snow-capped, the milky blue sky…” This is what I mean, the writer is describing everything that the writer thinks it is going to be like and the writer's perspective but that is in the way that he is thinking it will be, meaning that he really isn't there when he is saying these things. This is all in the first paragraph.
The second paragraph is when the writer is really there and the writer is to tell the reader how it really is and the writer is experiencing the place that he is visiting. But unlike the first paragraph he used the senses of smell and the way he uses it makes the paragraph because of the way it is totally different from the first. An example of this is “milky blue sky…” and “human excrement…” These quotes are different because of the way that the reader is effected by it and how they take it in.
Now to bring up the fact that the reader takes the writer's text and their perspective of it. The mood that is set for the reader is in paragraph one and paragraph two are very conflicting; the read goes one way when reading the first part and then takes a true turn when they start reading the second. An example of this “blue milky sky…” and “human excrement…” the reason why the writer does this is due to the fact that he want to make sure the reader understands that in the first paragraph that he was only think about and what it thought it would be like, but in the second paragraph he truly talks about how it look and smells to the reader. The reason why that sets a mood is because the reader only thought about what the writer did at that time; I read myself the mood in the end was disgusted and grossed out, on the other hand in the first paragraph it seemed like a new place to go.
Talking about the structure of it all, the writer has a picture of a beautiful place and then goes on to talk about how it is kind of beautiful but not as much as the picture and that's when the writer wasn't there. After that talking about when he was there and how he really was disgusted by it. What i would say about the structure is that it is really miss leading.
